    This is my comprehensive estimation as to how the episodes will play out. I'm assuming that the episodes will be heft, running at 23 minutes without opening and closings. I believe that the two demon brothers, Kinka and Ginka will be skipped entirely, as neither the villains or Inuyasha make a gain. The same with the Nikosen who prevents the backflow. I also assume that Koga will gain the Goraishi off-screen.

    I left one episode empty, so as to adjust the others in case I missed something important.

    1. Kohaku and Hitoukon

    2. The escape of Goryomaru

    3. the end of Hakudoshi and Kagura

    4. The reason

    5. Datsuki and the sword-smith

    6. the backflow and hello Byakuya.

    7. Seshoumaru's broken blade and Goryomaru's absorbing of adamant barrage.

    8. Training the dragon blade

    9. The end of training and to use it on Goryomaru

    10. Goryomaru's death - the entire battle and Miroku's worsening.

    11. Getting the new bow - Kagome

    12. Koga losing his shards, Kikyo's death

    13. The underworld, nearly losing rin.

    14. The battle with Kanna

    15. The lost boomerang and the sage who repairs it.

    16. Shishinki's battle and completing the meidou

    17. Sangos' new weapon

    18. Inuyasha taking the meidou

    19. The kitsune exam

    20. Hitomiko, the controlled priestess

    21.

    22. The final exams.

    23. The last Jewel shard falls.

    24. Battling brothers and Magatsuhi's death

    24. destroying Naraku's traps

    25: The battle against Naraku - ends with Kagome falling into the

    26: The end of the jewel and closure

    So you think Kouga will get Goraishi off-screen, but the kitsune exam (which, imo, was rather pointless) will be included? I'll be quite disappointed if that does happen. Also, what about Kai and Shinta?

    Just so anyone who reads this thread knows, the first episode is called "奈落の心臓" ("Naraku's Heart") and the second is "神楽の風" ("Kagura's Wind").

    I want to see the bone demon and the one who was feeeding on Inuyasha's sadness. "Kagura's Wind" or "A wind called Kagura."?

    The first thing you should know is that Japanese words can be translated in more than one way. Translations you find on sites like wiki or ANN are not official, they're the ones chosen by whoever did the translating.

    So...

    神楽 = Kagura

    風 = Wind

    の however, doesn't have a singular meaning. It can be used several ways (two of which are shown below).

    You could use it to show possession.

    神楽の = Kagura's

    You could also use it for an apposition.

    神楽の風 = Kagura, the Wind

    In that case, "A Wind Called Kagura" could be considered right, but it's not quite as direct as the example I posted above.

    Really, it all comes down to how someone decides to translate it. I believe the best translation for the first episode is "Naraku's Heart", and "Kagura's Wind" follows the same theme.

    I fear that Kouga and Goraishi along with Moryomrau will be dropped entirely. I am very skeptical if they can fit most important parts of the series in only 26 episodes. Your list sounds good, but I have to agree with Deer you think the fox exam will be made into an episode?

    An entire episode just for the fox exam?

    Well, if the second episode is in fact called Kagura's wind, then we'll definitely have all the parts. I figured they'd take at least three episodes to get to that point, but alas.

    I left the Kitsune exam in because I figured that they needed at least 1 funny episode in the entire collection.

    I don't know I guess Moryomaru will still be in the series, but I can still easily see them cutting out Kouga/Goraishi story altogether and just have Kouga get captured when the need araise later in the series to take his shards. They have to cut somewhere and I hate to say it, but since Kouga does not oarticapte in the final battle he can easily be cut out until they need Naraku to take his shards. If the Dragon Scaled Tessiga was not needed for Inuyasha to obtaining Mediou Zangetsuha and against the evil spirits from the jewel I would say they would probably cut that part out as well.

    from the previews, it looks like nothing is directly being cut out- when means we'll have a lot of two minute adventures.
