Yeah they do change their schedule around a lot. Remember back in the day when IY came on for an hour Mon-Fri. That was great! Also in my opinion if they're going to play the new episodes then it's best to put them on early and not at 3 A.M.

Imagine when new episodes they will air at an earlier time. The original Fullmetal Alchemist was playing at 2 or 3 am last year, but when the AS started airing the Brotherhood they put it on at midnight. I think Inuyasha will be the same way. I wish AS would show anime on the weekdays again instead of just Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Does that have anything to do with the limit shows they have the rights to? That's true, the only New thing getting shown now is Bleach and possibly Kekkaishi.

I know Adult Swim lost the rights to Death Note, Blood, and Code Geass, but I am not sure if their losing the rights to certain anime has anything to do with their showing anime on one night.

I for one will be hoping to see the translated version of InuYasha: The Final Act. It will be the biggest thing ever to happen in Anime! Laughing

Back around the beginning of the year, AS hinted at having three new anime series to air. The first was revealed to be Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and the second is Kekkaishi, but the third hasn't been revealed yet. I recall reading that the third show will be airing around Autumn. If that's true, I wouldn't expect some sort of official announcement until at least late July.
Well, it's nearing the end of the year and [adult swim]'s official schedule does not show a third anime. Are there any hints yet if it may have been delayed to early 2011?

I heard the third series was supposed to premiere in October, but that obviously didn't happen.

Viz has still not made any official announcement about a dub; there are only tidbits of information from a few voice actors. I believe it's safe to assume there is something slowing down the dubbing process.

It's one thing if the television broadcast has been delayed, but has it even been dubbed yet? Is Viz undergoing some financial or labor hardships?

Who knows. Back in December, Richard Ian Cox (IY's VA) had tweeted that the dubbing process had been finished and they were now in the final editing stage. His most recent tweet about TFA (from a week ago) is that he doesn't know when it's being released.

You guys should watch Durarara!! in the meantime. That just started airing on AS a couple of weeks ago, and it's pretty good.

I'm undergoing a hardship..of waiting. I think Viz is holding out till the right moment, like a kid approaching a jawbreaker.

Maybe Viz wants CN/AS to pay more to air the final episodes and are holding back from being aired until they get more money.

Viz will be at the San Diego Comic-Con. If anything about TFA is not announced then, I have no hope for any announcements about it this year.

Edit: Three more days.. Adult Swim will also be there to talk about their future programming.

Double edit: It's over now, and as I expected not a peep about TFA. -sighs- I suppose that leaves... Otakon?

Viz Media Panel at Otakon wrote:
Mar then scheduled 15 minutes for the question and answer portion of the panel. Most of the questions related to release dates for titles, such as the English dub for Inuyasha: The Final Act, and Mar took down the titles to check in but could not say anything specific off the top of her head. She speculated that they may be trying to get the original voice cast, since it's been a while since the last series was dubbed.

Viz Media Panel at Otakon wrote:
Another audience member told Mar that voice actor Richard Cox, who played the title character, said in another panel that he had finished recording his lines for Inuyasha: The Final Act, to Mar's surprise; she said she'd have to check with animation.

Not even the Viz Media representative knows what's going on with TFA...

..well..either Richard Cox and friends are planning to pull the biggest April fool's joke or Mar was left out of the loop. Maybe the due date for TFA will be a late 2012 release?
