    • Boku'seno reveals that the sheaths or scabbards of Tetsusaiga and Tenseiga were carved from his branches, which explains some of the mystical power contained in the simple looking wood.
    • After the bandit puts his foot on the cocoon, Gatenmaru (moth-demon) says, "It's a poison cocoon, one touch and you'll melt away". A few moments later, Gatenmaru says, "It's a poison cocoon. With continued exposure you would melt away." Later still, when the cocoon touches Miroku, he doesn't melt.

    • Kid: As thanks, I'm gonna give you my treasure. Bye, thanks again. Miroku: What did the boy give you? Inuyasha: A molted snake skin. Kagome: Cool, just what you always wanted. Shippo: Wow! Inuyasha, if you don't want it, can I have it, please?
    • Gatenmaru: Little man, what is the meaning of this? Why does this sword reject me? Inuyasha: Hm, I'll tell you about my Tetsusaiga. It's choosy about its user, and it would never let a low-class demon, like you, come anywhere near it.
    • Old Man: I've fallen and I can't get up!

    • Old Man: Help, I've fallen and I can't get up. This line is a reference to the Life Alert infomercial, in which an old woman is lying on the floor, saying "Help, I've fallen and I can't get up".
