When Koga, a wolf demon, kidnaps Kagome and Shippo, Inuyasha, Miroku and Sango go on a rescue mission. But there's another foe they must defeat first, before they can reach their kidnapped companions.
  • This was a pretty good episode.

This was a pretty good episode. When inuyasha was going to do the wind scar on koga, he sensed that something was wrong and he told the other wolves to retreat. Later on they ambushed them while they were on the mountain, and took kogame. koga took kogame because he knew that she can see the sacred jewel shards. Shippo was hanging on to koga tail at the time but he didnt know that yet until he got to his lair. Koga explain that they were being wiped out by the birds of paradise and they need to find more sacred jewels to balace out the power.moreless
  • Well Koga finds out Kagome can see jewel shards and falls for her gift NOT her or that's at least how I see it.

I luvvv this episode cuz I like the look on Inuyasha's face when Koga said he liked Kagome. If I were Kagome I'd make Inuyasha jealous to teach 'em a lesson. That big meanie always wants to see Kikyo why shouldn't Kagome find some one to make Inuyasha jealous with? This was the most enjoyable episode in the whole serious. Oh and I loved the movie where they kiss hehe it was soooooooo cute but this is probably just useless info but I thought I should mention it hehemoreless
  • We get to see Koga for the first time and are introduced to him in a unique way compared to the others. *Spoilers possible*

This ep. is one of my favorites and shows bits of what is to happen in future eps. without viewers having prior knowledge. Koga kidnaps Kagome because of the fact that she can see jewel shards. This is an important fact that will show up several seasons later.

Inuyasha is beyond mad, as he always is when Kagome is taken away. This leads to an interesting meeting when Inuyasha and Koga meet again in the conclusion ep.

Koga's love for Kagome provides interesting and funny moments in future eps. This show is a must see. Viewers need to know how Koga came into view to understand the Kagome/Koga relationship.moreless

Kagome is kidnapped by Koga the wolf demon is one of my favorite episodes. It was very exciting when Koga kidnapped Kagome. I didn\'t know waht to expect. I was glues to the television the entire time. I couldn\'t believe that Miroku had a stupid idea. That really surprised me.
  • Awesome episode, just really awesome.

I love this episode, its probably on my top ten list. But you know the ironic thing? I really hate Koga. So, even if you don't like the characters, watch it anyway!

Koga and Inuyasha fighting over Kagome is an excellent addition to the show, competitive romance and fighting. Plus, both of them will (occasionally) come out with funky lines. Wolf vs. Dog is also a rocking concept, so similar yet so very different that you don't really think about it until after a while.

Koga's character is super, just super. I loathe him, but his character is super. Big headed, arrogant, dogmatic jerk (I'm learning new words!) who always expects to get his way and can't understand why he doesn't always. Its no wonder Kagome goes all Sango on him and slaps him, he really deserved it. Hello, rude much?

The concept of Koga using the jewel shards for speed is very nice for an added touch. I like actually seeing someone use the jewel shards for once, instead of just keeping them. Yes, Naraku does use them, but not on himself and thats what I like about Koga. He has power and he definetly knows how to use it (Now if only he could control his mouth...)

Great episode, if you don't see this one, you're really missing something spectacular.moreless

    • Miroku: (after he and Inuyasha finish burying the dead villagers) Well, I think that was the last of them. Inuyasha: Man, all we seem to be doing lately is burying people! I'm becoming a professional grave digger, except that no one's paying me! I can't believe I got suckered in to another Good Samaritin act.

    • Koga: (after he escapes from Inuyasha) Ha! He can't keep up with me. No one can run as fast as I can. Kagome: Of course not. You have sacred jewel shards jammed in your legs. You don't get bragging rights if you're cheating, you know. Koga: What did you say?

    • Miroku: Inuyasha can you smell or hear anything unusual about this area? Inuyasha: Oh! So I'm your faithful terrier all of a sudden! Wondering if I've sniffed out a scent or heard something with my little doggie ears. Damn it! You guys piss me off! Every single one of you.

    • Inuyasha: I thought you were pretty fast but it's only cause you got jewel shards. Koga: You gotta know how to use the power of the jewel, you whining lil' whelp! Inuyasha: If only you could fight as fast as you could talk. Then we'd get somewhere. Koga: Shut up! Albino runt! Inuyasha: You oughtta be put down for rabies!

    • Shippo: I don't blame him for getting upset over being called a mongrel, but when he's sniffing the ground, he sure looks like one. Inuyasha: I heard that, Shippo! Come here and say that, I dare ya! Shippo: He can hear me from that distance? What a bloodhound! Talk about canine power! Inuyasha: Canines are carnivorous! Remember that, ya little runt!
