Even though Koga has a sword, he never seems to use it.
Koga refers to Inuyasha as 'Dog-turd' (Inukkoro in Japanese), because he says he doesn't like the smell of dog youkai.
In the cave scene where they brought the injured wolves and Koga explains who did it, his armbands are switched. One's long and the other is short.
Miroku: (after he and Inuyasha finish burying the dead villagers) Well, I think that was the last of them. Inuyasha: Man, all we seem to be doing lately is burying people! I'm becoming a professional grave digger, except that no one's paying me! I can't believe I got suckered in to another Good Samaritin act.
Koga: (after he escapes from Inuyasha) Ha! He can't keep up with me. No one can run as fast as I can. Kagome: Of course not. You have sacred jewel shards jammed in your legs. You don't get bragging rights if you're cheating, you know. Koga: What did you say?
Miroku: Inuyasha can you smell or hear anything unusual about this area? Inuyasha: Oh! So I'm your faithful terrier all of a sudden! Wondering if I've sniffed out a scent or heard something with my little doggie ears. Damn it! You guys piss me off! Every single one of you.
Inuyasha: I thought you were pretty fast but it's only cause you got jewel shards. Koga: You gotta know how to use the power of the jewel, you whining lil' whelp! Inuyasha: If only you could fight as fast as you could talk. Then we'd get somewhere. Koga: Shut up! Albino runt! Inuyasha: You oughtta be put down for rabies!
Shippo: I don't blame him for getting upset over being called a mongrel, but when he's sniffing the ground, he sure looks like one. Inuyasha: I heard that, Shippo! Come here and say that, I dare ya! Shippo: He can hear me from that distance? What a bloodhound! Talk about canine power! Inuyasha: Canines are carnivorous! Remember that, ya little runt!
