This is a good one to watch kohaku, protecting the attacks on the village from princess abi. Inuyasha and the gang arrived at the village to find out that princess abi birds are killing people and attacking the castle. They got their and started defending the castle, and sango found out that her little brother there. Kohaku does his very best defending off the birds, and everyone is impressed by his skills they say he fights like a demon slayer. Inuyasha is fighting with princess abi and using naraku rod for the barrier. Naraku order kohaku to take the child and kill everyone around him, will he do it?moreless

Kohaku is more than just a peasant boy in the village, he's a hero.

In this episode, Kohaku has a few flashbacks when key words from other people triggers his memories of a better time. Princess Abi attacks the peaceful village in search of Naraku, thus putting the princess of that village and her "heir" child in danger from the attack. Kohaku does what he can to save the princess and her child, and the other villagers from the fire set by Princess Abi's demon birds. After they made it safe outside, Kohaku and other villagers continue to fight the birds to protect the princess. Meanwhile, Sango is on her way to help out Kohaku while InuYasha and the rest are tied up in fighting Princess Abi. However, Sango must make it before Kohaku ends up killing those innocent villagers who he had just vowed on saving, due to Naraku's orders.moreless

What i thought of this episode was it was sorda like a flashback of other episode in the past with Sango and Kohaku fighting eachother.... So i thought it was pretty nice of Kohaku at first staying there and helping out the elders but then Naraku's shard shown brightly on his neck or back area and thats when it started to go downhill...Kagome felt the presents of a Shakan Jewel and then Sango thought right there and then her brother is there and she is wondering why he is there for..... so then back at the village Naraku suddenly speaks to Kohaku and tells him to protect the infant....so i thought this is going ot be a sad episode again cus it goes back when they had to fight eachother. i hope Kohaku doesn't kill the guards.....moreless
