This episode deals with the new sword that Sesshomaru had forged from the fangs of a demon that Inuyahsa killed. Sesshomaru later arrives to pick it up, but the smith is gone and goes to find Inuyahsa and kill him. Sesshomaru evetnutally gets his sword back and attacks Inuyasha. Inuyahsa, who can barely hold his sword is overwhledmed by the tremdous skill Sesshomaru holds in his new sword. Badly beaten, Inuyahsa transforms into his demon self and runs after Sesshomaru, trying to finally finish off his brother. This episode had a lot of action and was pretty funny at points as well.moreless

This keeps getting better and better, its very exciting to watch. Totosai student couldnt handle the power that he was wielding and his hand got sliced off. Inuyasha didnt want to leave the evil sword behind since none of them could destroy it now. Finally sesshomaru showed up and pulled out the evil sword and the sword chose it to be its master. He than attack inuyasha with the sword, but inuyasha was only blocking sesshomaru attacks. Inuyasha sword was to heavy. Inuyasha finally drops his sword and considered it useless and attack sesshomaru with out the sword. Sesshomaru hit him and inuayasha fell back and turn into a full demon. But Totosai stopped it with his fire blocking the path between inuyasha and sesshomaru. Than they took inuyasha and ran. Sesshomaru felt fear for his life when inuyasha transformed.moreless

Inuyasha faces off his Brother who now weilds the sword made by the fang of a deamon that Inuyasha killed. Inuyasha's deamon side awakens after Sesshomaru knocks aside Tetsiega. Kagome and the others manage to knock the deamon out of him and run away.moreless

It's a pretty average episode. not a very original story line though. Inuyasha's fights with his brother are sorta getting old. Seemed like a filler, without actually being a filler. Something needs to change when they fight or the next episodes with Sesshomaru and Inuyasha aren't going to be as anticipated. They should stop wasting episodes on fights between the two of them if one of them is just going to run away after every single fight. I think it would actually be more interesting if Kagome would go up against Sesshomaru. We don't see too many fights that Kagome participates in.moreless

- When Miroku, Kagome, and Myoga were discussing whether or not to tell Inuyasha about his Tetsusaiga controlling his demon blood, shouldn't Inuyasha have heard them with his dog hearing? He was able to hear Shippo in episode 36.

- Goof: During the scene where Sesshomaru meets with Kagura, they show a full moon in the sky. That's a serious mistake on the animator's part because there was no moon at all in the episode before it. This episode continues right where the previous one left off, therefore the moon should be a really small crescent moon, not full.
