  • This was not to shabby, nice to get to know shippo a little better.

This was not to shabby, nice to get to know shippo a little better. While shippo was walking down the path, a strike of lightning came down and it came with a message. Shippo picked it up and read it was from the leader of the thunder demon. Shippo along with everyone else were on their way to fight the thunder demon that challenge shippo to a duel. Along the way shippo began to get scared, and so inuyasha had to push him the rest of the way. Traps were set up to split up shippo from everyone else, and eventually shippo ended up in a cage where he met the thunder demon about the same age as him. They decided to duel over the crayons, no one won. Inuyasha and others caught up and found out that the thunder demon was a girl not a boy.moreless
  • shippo gets a challenge from one of the thunder brothers and it turns out its only a KID.

    9.3
I absolutely love this episode. Shippo is one of my favorite characters in the entire series and the fact that one episode is basically all about Shippo is cute. It's good when the creators decide to take a break from all the pain and suffering in the other episodes and do an episode that's completely comical. I love the battle sequence between Shippo and "his challenger". I was laughing out loud at the entire scene. Each little bit of this episode from the "Dragon-Worm" to the fight over crayons was done perfectly. This is why i watch this series for little bits of sillyness.moreless
  • As the title suggests, Shippo gets an angry challenge... from the remaining Thunder Brother.

    9.0
While this is more of a filler, I really enjoyed this one. The fact I do, I think lies with the fact I saw it around the time of "Howling Wind of Betrayal" around November of last year. That was the time where I started to see the series on a daily basis and learn more cool things about it. I think this is the first time I really got to know more about Shippo. I just thought he was there just to be cute, I guess.

This is pretty funny one. When Shippo gets the challenge, the Thunder Brother has his henchman dragon get to the group's weaknesses. Those are among my favorite scenes because they're just too funny. The first one, the dragon sets some cat nip on fire and as you can imagine, Kilala flies down and gets so intoxicated by it that she's blushing. (She's never looked so cute). Then with Miroku and the "pretty girl", he said "If this is to be a trap, I'll gladly fall into it", and he does (literally). Then the dragon dresses as Kagome and tries to get Inuyasha to sit when nothing happens. In the battle, Inuyasha gives his coat to Kagome, which is so cool of him. Then he gets shot with an arrow by the dragon cloud, but nothing happens. That scene makes me laugh so hard. Then the battle between Shippo and Souten is great since they're pretty evenly matched. The ending also has a huge twist, Souten is a girl... and Shippo is confused. (Hilarious, considernig people have said the same about Shippo being a girl when he's actually a boy).

Then the very end, Inuyasha smacks Shippo for putting on the act and I'm cringing like he is when Kagome starts getting on his case. I'm like, "no, Don't!" but she makes him sit... which is still kinda funny.moreless
  • A bad fight in a lame episode.

    4.5
This is all about the fox demon Shippo and his over-sized ego. He has to take up a challenge from the last member of the Thunder Clan... who happens to be a bratty girl with a impish dragon. Throughout the episode, we see one slapstick mishap after another. The battle between Shippo and Souten can be summed up with three easy words: lame and boring. Neither of them are strong. In fact, they have some of the worst attacks I'd ever viewed. At the end, no one dies or truly harmed... except for Shippo's ego and Inuyasha after receiving the sit command.moreless
