  • This was a good episode, where you see a lot of character.

This was a good episode, where you see a lot of character. Inuyasha is still fighting his father old enemey, inuyasha cant put a dent through him. So his father enemey knock him down and inuyasha drops his sword. Kogame and the gang came and saw him injured with his sword. Inuyasha was now able to swing his sword a lot easier now, but it wasnt enough. He dropped his sword by the last attack and begin to transform. Everyone begin to leave but kogame said you guys can leave, but I'm going to stay here. Inuyasha got back up and started fighting the demon within himself, he started to reach for his sword. He got his sword and did the ultimate technique to the enemey.moreless
  • Inuyasha learns a new move which destroys his enemy.

Absolutely fantastic. Not the best episode, but it was very good. Very, very, good. I thought Inuyasha was a doomed for sure when he went through his tranformation. It wasn't what I expected. I thought that he would have attacked Kagome. I'm glad that is heart is stronger than his demon blood. I was surprised to see that he was actually trying to fight the demon side of him. He managed to grab hold of his tetsuaiga, in which I was proud of him. Then, without even knowing it, he executed the backlash wave. That was amazing, and that large demon was cut into little pieces. However, Inuyasha as always, was cocky at the end after he claimed vicotry. Classic Inuyasha.moreless
  • Definitely one of the most awesome of the Inuyasha episodes. Inuyasha masters the windscar and his overall strength increases.

When I saw this episode on youtube, I didnt know what to expect because I just watched whatever episodes I had access to in order to fill myself in on the rest of the series that I've seen so far.

This is the first time I've seen Inuyasha in demon form with the red-eyes. When he wanted to become full demon, I had no idea that he'd become something like that. In any case, I don't think becoming full demon is quite right for him.

As for the episode itself, there was a lot of action and Inuyasha's newfound skill with his Tetsusaiga. The best part, I think, was when I actually heard him laugh like he was happy... that's not common from Inuyasha. Plus, him showing off his windscar added some comic relief, not to mention Kagome had the final say. "One victory and he thinks he's invincible"... my favorite quote.moreless
  • Inuyasha has come a long way.

Inuyasha was able to make the Tetsusaiga lighter, and he was able to use its Ultimate Attack the Bakuryuuha or the Backlash Wave. Inuyasha was also able to defeat a foe that even his mighty father, the unnamed Great Dog Demon, wasn't able to completely defeat. Inuyasha is also able to freely able to use the Wind Scar whenever he wants instead of always counting on the opposing wind forces. Inuyasha still has a long way to go to defeat Naraku, but he has taken a giant step. Also, Inuyasha won't need to worry about losing the Tetsusaiga and turning into his inner demon as much since he can wield it easier.moreless
  • One of the best episodes i've seen. Could'nt exspect anything better for a season finale

Inuyasha clashes with Ryuukotsusei in his demonic form. When her cripples the dragon, Inuyasha tries to go for the Tetsusaiga in maintaining his mind. Despite attacks from Ryuukotsusei, Inuyasha manages to get Tetsusaiga back and the sword becomes much lighter than it was before. Inuyasha tries to use the Wind Scar on the dragon, but he recovers. Toutosai reveals that for Ryuukotsusei to be defeated, Inuyasha must wipe out his entire body with a single attack. The dragon then prepares a large lightning attack. At this point, Inuyasha uses the Bakuryuha on Ryuukotsusei completely wiping out the dragon. Toutosai explains that the Bakuryuha is Tetsusaiga's ultimate attack where the Wind Scar is combined with a demon's energy creating an extremely powerful attack. Everyone starts to compliment Inuyasha which gets Inuyasha going nuts with using the Wind Scar many times. He's stopped by Kagome who tells him to 'sitmoreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • Demons, such as Sesshomaru,  can not touch Tetsusaiga without some sort of lightning burst from it, yet Ryukotsusei has no trouble running into it and knocking it over without the lightning effect

    • The Backlash Wave/Bakuryuuha is a deadly attack that envelops the opponent's energy in the Wind Scar, and reverses the flow of the energy.

    • While Inuyasha is stumbling towards his sword, Tetsusaiga, in his demon form, Ryukotsusei fires at him with his energy attack and you can clearly see Inuyasha is holding up Tetsusaiga's sheath. We then zoom closer to Inuyasha and his hand isn't holding the sheath, anymore !
