This was a very great episode, people got hurt on this installment. The girl with the mirror couldnt absorb all of kogame soul, and the mirror cracked. The monk came, and took kogame, shippo and the village girl to the battle where inuyasha was. Inuyasha couldnt use his wind scar at first but than he saw an opening to use on the enemey. Inuyasha doesnt know that the enemy let inuyahsa see the wind scar, so when inuyasha shot out the wind scar it reflected back and hit inuyasha. Naraku came out then and said that kikio gave me the jewel shards from you and desires you dead. Than kogame shoot and arrow at the mirror, which releases all the souls out of the mirror. Naraku and the others took off.moreless

  • Naraku dispatches a 2nd incarnation, Kanna, and turns the tables on Sango's Hiraikotsu and Inuyasha's Wind Scar... all thanks to the nearly complete Sacred Jewel!

This one has a lot of great action scenes. I'll give it that much, but it was pretty darn painful to watch Inuyasha's battle with Kagura. I knew it was coming (since I had seen this one 2x already), but it's still painful. Inuyasha's Wind Scar gets deflected back at him and he nearly gets killed because of it.
As if that isn't bad enough, Naraku could dispatch incarnations thanks to more jewel shards he gained... from Kikyo! Her plan to send Naraku and the jewel into oblivion comes at a price... nearly taking Inuyasha's life.
The very last moments of the show were what got me the most. Inuyasha thinks over how Kikyo: the woman who died once, came back with a body of clay, despises him and tried to murder Kagome... even with all that said, he says "where are you, my Kikyo?"

Omg, I almost want to wring his little neck for that. It was really approriate to have "Dearest" as the ending for this one. Inuyasha nearly died and all he cares about is where Kikyo is. It makes me so furious. I had mentioned before that nothing about the series had made me cry. This did it... a combo of the ending and Inuyasha's stupid take on things.

How can you love someone even when you nearly died because of their actions?!moreless

this episode is kinda sad....especialy at the ending when inuyasha think about kikyo...he remembers all the bad stuff that she did and he still loves her....
in this episode, naraku tries to kill the gang with their own wepons, this shows how a coward he is, to scared to duel with them....
kanna is kinda scarry, her presence can\'t be felt and she can take souls and then control people, but i know inuyasha and the gang can beat any demon they want, if they work as a team!
this episode is kinda painful to watch, with all of them sad and no smiles...moreless

    • After Kagome fires her arrow into Kanna's mirror, she only has two left in her quiver. Yet for the rest of the episode she still has three. Edit
    • Kagura's "Dance of Blades" doesn't slice through Miroku like they did Koga and the wolf demons probably because of his monk's training, which helps him to fight demons and survive things like Kagura's Dance of Blades. Edit
    • Toward the end of the episode, both of Miroku's hands are bare! He doesn't have anything covering his Kazaana/Wind Tunnel. Edit

    • Naraku: (to Kagome) Woman, pass this message on to Inuyasha. If he should hate someone, then hate Kikyo, for the only thing she desires, is Inuyasha's death. Edit
    • Inuyasha: (thinking) Kikyo handed over the sacred jewel shard to Naraku. Kikyo who had died once, then rose again with a body made of clay. Kikyo, who despises me, who tried to murder Kagome. Where are you, my Kikyo? Edit
    • Miroku: Life itself is a frightening image for every human being. In my right hand is a hole capable of drawing everything in it's path into the void. In time, eventually I, too, will be drawn into the terrible nothingness of my own hand. Being strong in life...it's not easy. Overcoming uncertainties is difficult. Edit
