As we all know, Invader Zim was cancelled in mid-second season. This was because Nickelodeon did a horrible job advertising the show, therefore the ratings plummeted below Zim's reputation in the Irken Empire. Some of you may know about the "unfinished" episodes, those which were scrapped in mid-production because of the shows untimely end.
The question is, did Nickelodeon look before they leaped on cancelling Zim? One episode, "Nubs Of Doom", which showed the creation of Mini-Moose, was only ONE DAY of production away from being finished. This would have settled the dispute on where it came from in the Christmas episode. The voiceovers were practically finished for the other episodes, so why did Nickelodeon scrap it then? It can't be because of Nick's budget, because c'mon, it's Nick.
Those episodes (which will sadly never see the light of day...) could very well have revived the show (if Nick did a half decent job of advertising them), at least on Nicktoons Network. Therefore, I think that this show was pre-PREmaturely ended, and that that decision could very well (actually, it already has) come back to haunt Nickelodeon.
Anyhow, that's my opinion. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!
