Iron Man, on the Inside
AIRED:
Tony and Julia have to fly to Detroit, but on their way out, they run into Clint – who is rather bitter over Force Works' breakup. A bigger problem looms during takeoff, however, when Ultimo suddenly attacks. Iron Man and Hawkeye take him down, but the latter's spine is severely injured in the process. A new, advanced neurochip can repair the injury, but it is not possible to implant via surgery. The only option is for someone to use Stark Enterprises' Molecular Expander in reverse and that someone is Iron Man. The soon-tiny hero quickly gets to it and braves Hawkeye's body to succeed, while Julia monitors him. Problem is, the mysterious Hacker ensures further trouble from Ultimo and even hacks into H.O.M.E.R..moreless

Iron Man has ALWAYS been my favorite Marvel super hero. I thought that this episode was well thought out. I know that in the first season, they had to re-fight the Mandarian, Modok, Justin Hammer and their team. Of course we see that at the start of this season. However, I think it was awsome to have the return of Ultimo, the powerful alien robot that was sent to Earth to take control for his former creators. However, he is not saying his message so many times, he can get hurt much easier than last time, and he is actually under control since he lost his programming mind in their last fight. And to have Hawkeye hurt and Iron Man shrink down to a small size was well thought up. The one part I thought was so funny, was the fact that Julia did not know what popcorn was and that Tony said you put pepper on it. I actually put some pepper on my popcorn and it wasn't good. Overall, GREAT EPISODE. It is my favorite one of all.moreless
