Great stuff! Finally these classics are coming to DVD. It's been a long wait. Notice first seasons Ironside song version is harder than later years, it changed throughout it's run. Quincy Jones is Da-man! Look-out for Jack Lord in the third episode. Wonder if they will include any extra perks, interviews or ?

Have you noticed that in some episodes, Ironside uses a powered wheelechair, and in others he doesn't. These are scattered randomly during the first season, so they must have been filmed in a different order than they were broadcast.

At last! After years of wondering if Ironside would ever be released on DVD, it has--the 2nd season also. The master negatives have been beautifully restored and viewing these episodes is like watching the broadcasts (minus the commercials) when they first premiered. Let's hope the series is released in its entirety.

Received the Season 1 DVD's in the post this morning - Region 2 UK discs. No extras on these but the pilot movie and all season 1 episodes.

I remember thoroughly enjoying this series as a university students growing up in the UK and a young married man - they were tv we both looked forward to.
