Ironside: Feeling all right, Mr. Glass?
Mr. Glass: Sure, I mean what could happen? Ed could get into trouble and have to force-land, or we could go into town and the street and the roof could be filled with crooks.
Ironside: We will not lose that collection.
Mr. Glass: I'm not so sure I wouldn't rather have it stolen here. Then I wouldn't have to go through this in six more cities.
Ironside: You can get then stolen any place you like, Mr. Glass, except here in my town.
Mr. Glass: Would you like to take a look at what you're guarding?
Ironside: Sure. If you're not afraid of my stealing it.

The 55-carat Kimberley Diamond, which is part of the display the Chief must guard, is an actual 55-carat diamond named after the Kimberley Mine in South Africa. The diamond originally weighed about 490-carats and had the color of sparkling wine. It was first cut in 1921 to 70 carats and re-cut in 1958 to an emerald shape and 55.09 carat size. The diamond had been exhibited in different places until 1971, when it was purchased by an undisclosed collector from Texas.
