Hickman tells Ironside that his policeman's salary is $142.97/week. Ironside says his salary was $91.50/week and that that was well before Hickman's time.
Ed: I am going with you.
Ironside: Sergeant! You are about to become an ex-Sergeant!
Ed: That's better than being one of your pallbearers.
Ed: My aching back.
Eve: Oh, my feet.
Ironside: If you two are an example of the younger generation, I'll take us senior citizens.
Eve: Mercy, Chief.
Ed: Do you know where we've been?
Ironside: Every hotel, motel, trailer camp and flophouse in the Bay Area. Terminals: air, rail and bus, abandoned buildings, vacant lots, ships at anchor, ships at sea, stadiums, parks, aqueducts, viaducts and the San Francisco sewer system.
Ed: Yeah!
Ironside: Nice of you to look in on me.
Mark: Went out to get the paper.
Ironside: Where to - Los Angeles?
Mark: I waited for the 5-Star
Ironside: And what did you find?
Mark: Same that was in the 3-Star.
Robert Lansing is billed as a Guest Star in the opening credits.
