Does anyone think that this show is way too dramatic? I can't even get over how annoying the cast members are, why are they even doing this as a job if they complain and worry about it the whole time? You don't even hear the folks on ice road truckers whine and they could fall straight through ice!

Not to mention that this idea has been done before, and much better, on the show Top Gear when they went to Bolivia and had to drive on that narrow road to reach that little town. The same could be said about the polar special.

errr... At least half the cast IS from Ice Road Truckers. Hence the IRT part of the title. This season started with two rookies and four IRT vets. Two of which were vets from IRT Deadliest Roads season 1. They complain and worry about it because its... wait for it... a DEADLY ROAD. And yes, they probably do it partly for the money. Can't fault them for that.
