IRT: Deadliest Roads

Hugh has a truck of fireworks, while the rookies and Lisa and G.W. Hugh haul bulls, but they are all on their way to the same place, an Andean festival in the mountains.

While Hugh races to deliver a load of frozen fish before it goes bad, G.W. and Lisa must cross crumbling bridges to reach their destination. Rookies Tim and Tino need to haul a load of fuel along roads rigged with dynamite.

Hugh Rowland calls himself the "King of the Road", but rookies Tim and Tino challenge him to the title and are willing to do whatever it takes to win. Meanwhile, Lisa lets her partner, G.W. Boles, back behind the wheel as they haul a load of dinosaurs along Dead Nun Canyon.

Despite narrowly avoiding going over the edge the day before, team mates Lisa and G.W. must face the same road with a heavier road. To make things interesting, the mountain has been rigged with dynamite. Meanwhile, Hugh makes a night delivery of sheep and Tim must go it alone.

Peru's dangerous Andes Mountains passageways are where the three teams next have to prove themselves. G.W. Boles is finally given the OK from partner Lisa to drive and a race between Hugh and the rookie team results in truck problems for both.

This is the last opportunity that the truckers have to master Bolivia's Death Road, they will soon be off to Peru. To mark the event, Tim Zickuhr and G.W. Boles have a go at Bolivian Cholita Wrestling, but Lisa is still reluctant to let her partner drive. Meanwhile, Tim and Tino discover the reason for the emergency oxygen tank. Before leaving Bolivia, the drivers meet up for a farewell dinner and relate their experiences.

Hugh discovers that it is hard to go fast if you can't keep your truck on the road, while Tim decides to ride the Death Road on the roof of his truck. This week Team Lisa take a break from the mountain passes and must navigate one of the flattest places in the world, the salt flats.

New Texan trucker, G.W. Boles, joins Lisa's team as her spotter, but Hugh still has do make-do on his own. Meanwhile, rookies Tim Zickuhr and Tino Rodriguez embark on their first trip on the Death Road.

Both veteran truckers, Hugh Rowland and Lisa Kelly, must now continue alone as their team mates have both quit. This is especially tough on Lisa, who has now moved on to the Southern Death Road. Meanwhile, rookies Tim and Tino find that even after successfully overcoming landslides and narrow cliff roads, they still have the challenge of navigating the town's small streets.

Hugh and Rick's tempers begin to flare while confronting muddy roads and their lack of language skills. Meanwhile, Lisa and Dave struggle to deliver their load on time when they have to fix their faulty truck and rookies Tim and Tino doubt their ability to safely navigate the treacherous cliff-side roads.

The first Deadlly Road this season is Bolivia's Death Road. Three teams of North American truckers will be battle against narrow cliff-side lanes and landslides to show they are capable of hauling any load over any road.

The drivers' last mission job is to deliver aviation fuel. As well as being vital for helicopter rescue missions, it could prove to be a treacherous undertaking. Lisa and Rick must cope without spotters, while Dave has another accident.
