  • Fun but an Anachronism of an Episode.

This episode leaves me feeling the writers are looking backwards hoping for the supposed good old days, which never really existed. The first sign of the episode anachronism was when Alexander meets his contact - Devon - on the river bank. Devon treats Alex like the convict on a dog leash he was in seasons 1 and 2. Even later on Alexander tells the story of his being on work release for the SIA. While one can forgive him for telling his "side kick," Sharon, the story, Devon knows better. They gave him a full and complete pardon a dozen episodes or so ago to get his old man to help them. How quickly they forget and yearn for the good old days of control and dominance.

Otherwise this episode is fun, exciting, and filled with typical Mundy romance. A great way to spend an hour on a Sunday afternoon, in Chicago, IL.
