The show "It's Always Jan" starred musical comedy star Janis Paige in the role of a night club singer named Jan Stewart who is the Mother of a 10 year old daughter named Josie Stewart. Jan had lost her husband during the war and had to raise their daughter alone. Not with a lot of money Jan Stewart and her daughter Josie Stewart lived in a small apartment with Jan's friends Pat Murphy who was a secretary and Val Marlowe who was an actress and model.
