    "Good"
A good enough episode of It's Always Sunny but lately it seems like I always expect too much from this show because by the end of the episode, I'm always left somewhat disappointed. Sunny could have done way better here with their one hour Christmas special. No plots tied together, the past of the group was quite uninteresting, and Charlie biting off Santa's ear was over the top and ridiculous.

I know this show is supposed to cross all boundaries when it comes to that, but it lacked some definite comedy. We did get some nice moments between the group and all of them getting held gunpoint was unexpected but this definitely wasn't one of the best episodes of the series. Plus if you missed this special, you really wouldn't be missing much.

We all know this show can do better than this. This special fell short in a lot of ways but it was still an entertaining hour of television nonetheless.moreless

This episode did not air on FX, instead it was a special one hour DVD.

The episode focused on how the gang all has bad memories from Christmas. Charlie's mom slept with a lot of men dressed as Santa on the holiday, Mac and his family stole presents and Dennis and Dee never got any. The flashbacks were mildly amusing, but certainly not something this show is known for, should they do it again.

This just felt like a really cliched Christmas special, and in many ways it was. Sure, it was probably more risque than something on ABC Family, but the idea was the same and frankly, this is not a must-watch.moreless
