Just wondering if anybody's tried the sandwich. From what i understand it's bread, peanut butter, chocolate, butter, cheese then another bread slice. I'm about to experiment with it, just wondering if anybody else had tried it. I'm just unsure about the cheese, everything else sounds really good about it.

Well, according to the episode some of that stuff goes on top of the second slice of bread, but they were never really that specific as to the order of the ingredients. I'd have to rewatch the episode to be sure.

Have fun trying it, if it ends up being good, then maybe I'll give it a shot.

But I'm having flashbacks of when I ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich with maple syrup on it.

Tried it the other day.  It was good, but I also felt like I was about to have a heart attack right afterwards.  Did it on my old George Foreman grill when I was drunk, maybe the best drunk snack I've ever had.  I would suggest any It's Always Sunny... fans to try it while kicking back and watching the funniest show in the world.

I love Charlie, but not his taste in food.  No thanks.

All right I have all the ingredients. I am going to try it in the next couple days. It sounds bad, but if Charlie likes it how bad can it be? (probably pretty bad)

Ya i love the grilled Charlie. Heres the real Recipe as quoted from Charlie Kelly himself.
"Do Not put peanut butter on that. No! Peanut Butter outside, chocolate inside...butter inside, cheese outside."
So use a soft sweet cheese, like Fetta.
    Thats the GrilledCharlie

I tried it with ricotta cheese. It was actually pretty good. I'd never make it again, but still pretty good.

Not to nitpick, but in the name of authenticity, I don't think Charlie would have feta on hand. I'm thinking it should be more like an individually wrapped American cheese slice.

I remember seeing some square slices of orange cheese so it's probably cheddar or american. Later ****
