I'm not a big fan of Fred Savage. He's directed some classics but I think the funny episodes are based on whatever Charlie, Rob, and Glenn write. It's what created the show. I have seen this episode around 37 times and I only find the humor of the cast to be funny but not the lines which were just looking for laughter. I was glad they had a Die Hard episode but without a funny script this episode becomes the least funniest of all the episodes. Number 81 is not good but it's not necessarily the worst.moreless

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has done a lot of stupid stuff, to say the very least, but this was among the dumbest and is on par with The Gang Gives Frank an Intervention. The McPoyles can definitely be funny, under the right environment, but here they were just stupid. The stuff with Charlie (outside of Charlie's special place where he breaks bottles, which was awesome) was just vinsanity.

The show needs a good editor who can just say no to scripts like this. Sunny is a unique show with a distinct styles of humor, but this was a bust.moreless

    • Frank: Yippee-ki-yay, Mr. Falcon!

This is a reference to the censored tv version of Die Hard 2 where the name "Mr. Falcon" replaces a curse word of the same initials in Bruce Willis' (John McClane) famous line. Also, there are numerous references to the original Die Hard that can be found in this episode.

-In the vent with a Zippo lighter.
      -Stepping on broken glass.
-Gun taped to the back and fake hysterical laughter used to distract the bad guys.
