Another good episode and more proof that It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia still is one of the best shows on TV.

MVP of the night was definitely Mac as his rants about Dennis' maps from the 70's, Charlie not ever eating a pear and him trying to hotwire Dee's car to break free from her.

This was a great, fast-moving episode that had more good lines than bad, and was a strong, one location installment that was prevalent in 80's sitcoms, but is pretty much absent today. Good to see Sunny bring that style back (even though I doubt they knew what they were doing).
  • This is a classic. Simple and very effective.

The plot? The gang wants to go on a road trip to the Grand Canyon. It's that simple, yet somehow, only this group of people could find a way to screw that up. It all starts when Charlie says he's never eaten a pear OR blueberries (or strawberries for that matter..) This blows Mac's mind and as a result, everyone agrees they should go to the Italian Market (which appearently is run by gypsies) and buy some fruit, wicker chairs to sit in and some cassette tapes.

From there, things just get crazier. It's better to watch it than have it described. It's just one of those episodes where not a lot really happens in terms of setting, but at the same time, the episode is hilarious just the same. The gang never goes further than 20 feet from the car and the trailer going to the Grand Canyon, yet they find plenty to do and talk about.

And they actually found a way to end the episode, unlike last weeks episode. I don't know about anyone else, but this episode, to me, was a classic. Had all of the usual Its Always Sunny dialogue, and it didn't have to overdo the plot. It was simple but very effective.
  • They never leave philly and loose there car to a hitch hiker on the road.

The gang sets off to the grand canyon. They stop at a roadside stand calling the shop keepers gypsy. They then bargain some fruit from 50 cents to 35 cents. later they find the fruit isn't ripe. They then buy some chairs and duct tape them to the trailer. There grill Flys out of the trailer. so they burn the wicker chairs. The girl throws a jar of pee out the window hitting charlie. so they all stop and notice the trailer is smoking. They stop in a gas station 20 mins from the bar and clean it. Every one hops in the back and passes out. they wake up in front of the bar with car gone. All and All a good episode. Could have had more.
