The group is facing tough economic times.
Frank decides to try and hang himself twice, failing each time. Realizing that Frank can no longer help them out with money, Mac and Dennis decide to take over Paddy's and fire Frank, Dee and Charlie. Dee and Charlie are given the chance to keep their jobs by defending their positions but fail miserably. Dee has no idea how to mix cocktails and Charlie was doing okay at first but thought he had been turning on the neon "Coor's" sign when it actually was saying "Closed."
As a result, Frank and Dee decide to buy an RV to house Reynolds & Reynolds, their new door-to-door knives and power vacuum sales team. They rehearse the sales pitch but prove to be unsuccessful. Frank ends up cutting his thumb pretty badly and Dee spills wine all over the carpets in an attempt to sell the power vacuums.
Mac and Dennis decide to introduce Paddy's Dollars to increase business at Paddy's. Turns out it wasn't such a great idea because they end up just recycling the Paddy's Dollars and not making any money.
Charlie can't find anywhere to stay, he is turned out of his own home and Frank and Dee won't let him into the RV either. He could stay with Uncle Jack, but he is the kind of guy that likes to wrestle in bed...
So Charlie decides to live in a box on the Delaware River and coins himself as "Crab Man," the only thing is, the law prevents him from actually eating any crabs.
Everything seems to be looking down when Frank finds out that the government has bailed him out and he has cash again. Frank takes Mac and Dennis to Dave & Busters for steak dinner and Charlie and Dee are not invited.
