  • Another solid outing.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia may not be the ratings winner Sons of Anarchy is nor is it as provocative and mind-blowingly great as Damages, but it is the show that defies F/X; programming not quite-ready for primetime, but unique, edgy and always entertaining.

Tonight was no different as we saw the gang explore myths, attempt to scale buildings and appear in court together. The whole ensemble was great, with Glenn Howerton being a step above the rest. How he has not gotten an Emmy nomination yet for his portrayal of Dennis Reynolds is nothing short of puzzling. Yes, supporting actor in a comedy is competitive, but few deliver as many laughs as he does.

Good episode, just a few awkward moments (like one minute of Frank, Dee and Mac making aching faces while being polluted with toxic gas) that brought things down.
  • Not too bad.. and Greenman makes a return!!

Anytime Greenman pops up in an episode, you know you're in for a good time.. then again, you always know you're in for a good time when It's Always Sunny For Philidelphia is on. This episode was no exception. It was a mix between the Liberty Bell episode last season and the Gang Gets Invincible from season 3.

The gang is sent to court for a slew of unpaid parking tickets that they got during the World Series. They attempt to explain why they should get out of having to pay it by telling the hilarious and thorougly entertaining story of how they ended up in the cleaning room of a Holiday Inn for six days. The setup was simple, and so was the execution, but the episode was still hilarious.

Mac's letter to Chase Utley had me dying laughing, especially the two baseball stickers he put at the bottom, and Charlie was again right on the money with his Charlie 1-2 scheme and trying to get into the stadium by teaming up with the Philly Fanatic. The only thing I've been wishing lately is to get some of the classic supporting characters back, like the McPoyle's or Rickety Cricket. That would make this season easily one of the best, if they could just show up for one episode.

Other then that, it wasn't as good as last week's, but that in no way means that the episode was bad. It was the same old same old in the world of Its Always Sunny.
