It's Happening was a weekday spin-off of Happening '68. Both series were produced by Dick Clark Productions, with Mark Lindsay and Paul Revere as co-hosts.
According to newspaper listings, "It's Happening" was a 25 minute series (followed by the 5-minute program "Children's Doctor").
The final "It's Happening" episode aired on Oct. 11, 1968. From October 14 - 25, 1968, the series was pre-empted for coverage of the Summer Olympic Games from Mexico City. Beginning 28Oct1968, the time slot was taken over by "Funny You Should Ask," a game show hosted by Lloyd Thaxton.moreless
