Episode Summary

January 14, 1963
Hermione Gingold is tonight's guest.

The first contestants are three gentleman and one woman whose secrets are their names. The first gentleman, who Garry states his occupation as a guitarist and a guitar teacher, is named Mr. Strum. Bill alone is asked to either ask questions or name this person. He doesn't guess it. The second gentleman works for an Air Force ststion in Ohio where he is a guard at the main gate. His name is St. Peter, and Betsy doesn't get him. Garry then identifies the woman by the name Dr. Katherine Hand and asks Henry to guess her occupation. He doesn't identify her as a foot doctor, although he does ask if shes a surgeon and if she cuts off fingers. Bess gets to identify the occupation of the fourth person, named Dr. Yell. She successfully guesses that he is a dentist. His first name is Donat, and Garry asks him how to pronounce that, and he say Donat Yell (Do not yell).
The second contestant is a gentleman named Nathan Wexler from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He comes on with Norman Paris and his orchestra. He is a maestro who will play Brahms Fifth Hungarian Dance, and he will play a solo with a duck call. In the next segment, Hermoine Gingold agrees with Garry's statement that a woman remembers more about romantic moments than a man does. Garry say he in a mild way begs to differ, and the panelists are put to the test with questions about their romantic events. The same questions were asked to the panelists spouses prior to the show to see who could remember them more.moreless
