I totally agree with everyone that there should have been a 2nd season and a dvd, but I don't think that there was a big enough following or potential sales to warrant a dvd.
RPozo, you're lucky enough to have the episodes at all.

Would/could u make copies? I so should have. I thought about it.  There might be soon, netflix.com has, it's not available yet. Go to groups at myspace.com and the top Jack and Bobby group.

I came here looking for an episode guide tonight for this great show and see that I can be of assistance.

I recently moved and today was unpacking stuff and came across my Jack and Bobby episodes on DVD+R discs

I know I recorded the entire series...but at this time I cannot find the disc with the last two episodes (Stand By Me and Legacy) on it.

I am willing to offer copies of my DVD's if someone can help out with providing the last two episodes either on DVD or VHS

If you don't have the complete series on tape from when it was shown, there are some great "bootleg" sets wandering around the web...I just bought one a few months ago on ioffer.com--I have to admit, it is in better quality than the broadcasts--all of the ads that the WB put at the bottom of the screen are NOT present...the network logo is, but not those darn ads! The shocker: the entire 22 episode series is on 2 DVDs, but they work UNBELIEVABLY well...broadcast quality at the worst! The last time I checked, the sellerstill hada few more copies left...they are only $25.00/set!

As far as a professional release goes, it was initially believed that Warner Bros. would release the series in late 2005, but that has obviously not materialized to date. IF the show is EVER going to be released, look for it in 2008--my theory: it's a presidential election year, just as the year when the show originally aired (2004-05)!

It is also interesting to note that "Jack and Bobby" is still being shown in some foreign markets...where 22 episodes is considered a long run! You can also listen to some of the original background music from the show on composer Blake Neely's site www.cowonthewall.com. This includes the seldom heard end credits theme (I only heard it once when the series finale was rebroadcast on TV Land in June 2005). Another odd fact about the showis that Greg Berlanti went on to create "Brothers and Sisters" for ABC, and Rob Lowe's recurring character on that show is none other than SENATOR ROBERT McCALLISTER!!!

I agree. There are so many other shows that weren't even as good as Jack & Bobby and they are already on DVD. So it doesn't make sense that they haven't released this yet.
