      • Eunuch: (after Jack kicks a eunuch in the crotch) No patties, no pain.
Jack: Well, at least you have guts. (Jack punches the eunuch in the stomach, disabling him)

      • Jack: The governor's party? I forgot about that stuffy brouhaha. Do we have to go?
Emilia: Oh, you won't want to miss it. The governor's guest tonight is millionaire sultan Mohammed Kareem Abdul Mosheriff Ali.
Jack: Wait a minute, he's the guy with 70 wives!
        Emiia: Uh-huh.
Jack: Oh ho ho! Man, I bet he gets great group... discounts.

      • Emilia: (reading the inscription in the necklace given her by Jack) To my partner, the only one who can get a rise out of me. Your favorite eunuch, Jack.

      • Jack: He told me to stop by for a job interview, so here I am.
Gate Guard: Did he say for what position?
Jack: Well, after seeing his wives, I was hoping to go through a variety of positions.

      • Poster: Join the Sultan's Death Squad

This is an allusion to the famous "I want you for the US Army" poster from 1916, in which Uncle Sam points at the viewer. Careful observation reveals that the face and hand on the Sultan's poster are the original 'Uncle Sam', with the hat and clothes just painted over for a more berber-esque look. (The entire poster reads "Join the Sultan's Death Squad Today. Earn more money for college while learning valuable skills".)

      • Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
This episode's title is a reference to the musical Seven Brides for Sevan Brothers. Like this episode, the musical is about women being kidnapped to become the wives of their captors. Of course, the musical itself is based on an even more ancient source, the Roman historical myth of "The Rape of the Sabine Women".
