Jackie, Uncle, Tohru, and Jade discover that they have overlook something in the ancient writings by making the horrible mistake of placing the final oni mask along side the other eight in Section 13. By doing this, they have released Tarakudo and his generals from the masks that bind them. - The snakes that nearly attack Tohru in the Shadow Realm in this episode appear to be identical to the ones that Daolon Wong magically conjures to restrain Santa in "A Jolly J-Team X-mas." Edit
- Most of the shadowkahn look similar to their oni master, but one exception is the shadow eater tribe. They are small and hornless while their master has a large body and a curved horn on his head. The mini-kahn would look similar to their master when become fully grown. Edit
