Most of the shadowkahn look similar to their oni master, but one exception is the shadow eater tribe. They are small and hornless while their master has a large body and a curved horn on his head. The mini-kahn would look similar to their master when become fully grown.

This is also the only season to not feature Jade's school rival Drew.

We learn that the 10th mask that was suppose to imprison Tarakudo was lost in the shadow realm, but was retrieved by Tohru with Tarakudo's tatoo.
