AIRED:
Art Carney and Audrey Meadows return for a special one-hour musical restaging of the classic Honeymooner's episode, "The Adoption". This is the precursor to next season's Honeymooners revival on The Jackie Gleason Show.
Wanting badly to adopt a child, the Kramdens go as far as borrowing furniture to impress the person from the adoption agency. The agent is so impressed with their desire that a baby is found for them. After blowing his stack about getting a girl, Ralph quickly is delighted to have a "Ralphina" in their home.
Jackie sings "There's Always Been a Kramden"; Carney sings "You Can have Anything I've Got"; Meadows performs "As Long As He Looks Like You".moreless
