AIRED:
This week's show is true surprise party celebrating Gleason's 50th birthday. (Until the actual Friday night taping (2/18/1966), he was kept in the dark about the guest list.) Guests on hand to celebrate and perform are: Milton Berle, Bobby Darin singing "Mack the Knife", Connie Francis with "Queen of the House", Arthur Godfrey singing "It's Wonderful", double-talk comedian Al Kelly presenting a phony award, jazz pianist Errol Garner playing "Misty". Frank Fontaine performs "Always". Berle reads fabricated greetings from other celebrities and presents Jackie with an oil painting by Alfred C. Chadbourne.moreless
