AIRED:
Jackie wraps up the season with another installment of "Gleason's Gaieties" spotlighting regulars and the show's crew. The show opens with the June Taylor Dancers performing to "You Are My Lucky Star" and "This Is My Lucky Day". Jackie's monologue is interrupted by balancing act "The Flying Steinhardts" (writers Sydney Reznick and Marvin Marx). Writer Snag Werris does a rope trick and scribe Hank Ladd performs a sketch with Sid Fields. Pat Dahl (wife of director Frank Bunetta) sings "My Man". Jan Crockett and Helen Curtis do a Dixieland medley with Phil Napoleon and his Memphis Five. The "Clam Chorus", made up of male staffers in wigs and tutus, spoofs the June Taylor Dancers. Frank Fontaine does celebrity impressions and performs "Home On the Range". Announcer Johnny Olsen sings "As Long As I Have My Horse". All join in a finale called "On Miami Shores."moreless
