      • Mac: Do you remember that chat we were gonna have about... us. There's one problem.
        Harm: Only one?
Mac: Things are never gonna work out between us.
        Harm: Why not?
Mac: Because we both want to be on top and that's physically and emotionally... impossible.

      • Mac: I have a question for you. You resigned your commission and you travelled 5,000 miles to find me and nearly get killed. Why?
Harm: I think you know why.
Mac: Do I? When you found me at the hacienda--
Harm: When I saved your life?
Mac: You weren't even glad to see me.
Harm: I was kind of busy trying not to get us killed.
Mac: You're not even glad to be here right now. In fact, you've been awful. So is this really about Webb?
Harm: Yes, I'll say this. I did a hell of a better job protecting you than Webb did.
Mac: Where does that come from?
Harm: Well, you and him seemed to be awfully damned close.
Mac: We've been through a lot together.
Harm: Yeah, I noticed the tender goodbye at the hacienda. Just how many times have you taken his pants off anyway?
Mac: I hate it when you're like this.
Harm: You hate everything I do.
        Mac: You're jealous.
Harm: I'm not jealous. It's your life. You do whatever you want. I just didn't realize you had a thing for him.

      • Webb: Harm, what the hell are you doing in Paraguay?
        Mac: He's honeymooning--
Harm: (interrupting) I came here looking for Mac.
Webb: How did you get the admiral's permission?
        Harm: I resigned my commission.
Mac: Are you insane? Why didn't you tell me?
        Harm: There was no time.
Mac: You found time to tell Webb.
Harm: It's not a big deal, Mac.
Mac: Harm, this job's your life. It's all you've got. (he stares at her intensively) You did it for me?

      • Webb: Right now, I don't have a plan.
Harm: Well, that's refreshingly modest of you, Clay.

      • Mac: You're not really married?
Harm: No. But I do now know what it means to make a commitment like that. I went through a ceremony.
Mac: There's got to be a story there. Why did you do it?
Harm: I did it to find you.
        Mac: Is that true?
        Harm: Mostly.
Mac: So, how do you like the married life?
Harm: Well, we got to postpone the honeymoon.
Mac: But did you get to kiss the bride?
        Harm: Oh, yeah! (they laugh)
Mac: You are just full of surprises.
Harm: Well, right back at you, Mackenzie.

      • Harm: (to Mac) I forgot how beautiful you are.

      • Harm: That's your plan, shopping?
Mac: Unless you brought some dresses with you.
Harm: Well, you know, normally I would but I didn't want to overpack this time.
Mac: You're such a good boy scout. Always prepared.
Harm: Well, nothing would have prepared me for what I found down here.
Mac: Seeing me close to Webb? What is it you want from me, Harm?
Harm: Operating a stinger would be nice.
Mac: You know, I actually need very little. Only you never figured that out.

      • Mac: What now?
Harm: I'm sure you must have a suggestion.
Mac: You know anyone in the CIA?
Harm: As a matter of fact I do.
        Mac: Someone you trust?
Harm: Well, I should. I married her while you were away.

      • (Harm is honking the horn at a cow standing in the middle of the road)
Mac: How do you know it's a her?
Harm: She's obstinate, immune to reason and totally in the way ... Of course, we could always shoot her. (Mac sighs, then gets out of the car and coaxes the cow to move out of the road) What did you say to her?
Mac: I told her all about you. Like every woman you've ever known, she ran for her life.

      • Mac: You must know what I look like by now.
Harm: Right now you're a little bit blurry.
Mac: I always thought I must look that way to you.

      • In Memory of Trevor Goddard
        October 14, 1962 - June 7, 2003
        May he rest in peace.

    • NOTES (1)

      • On June 7, 2003, actor Trevor Goddard (Mic Brumby) was found to have passed away at his Los Angeles home. The cause of death has been listed as an apparent drug overdose. His death occurred while the production crew was on hiatus for the summer. Actor John M. Jackson delivered the eulogy at the funeral.

At the end of this episode (the first since his death), the crew of Belisarius Productions and Paramount Studios inserted a heart-wrenching tribute to their friend. In saying goodbye, it seemed only right to use the scene at the end of the Season 5 episode, "Life or Death", where Mic walked out of McMurphy's Bar with the JAG staff all singing "Waltzing Matilda".
