Angels 30
AIRED:

When a fighter pilot claims he heard the voice of God tell him not to fire on an attacking Iraqi, Harm and Mac are sent in to investigate his claim. Despite the pilot's assertions that he heard God, Harm insists on finding a more "military" explanation. When Harm fails from the ground to discover the origination of the voice, he suggests that Rice duplicate his earlier mission to see what they can learn about the incident in the sky.

When a top gun fails to fire on an Iraqi plane, he claims that a voice told him not to. Upon investigation, he admits to Harm that it was the voice of God.

There have been over a dozen cases where the person that committed the crime said, "God told me to." I am a Christian and I have read where Jesus talked with God. I am not saying that God can or can not talk to someone.

I thought it was hilarious when the Admiral came in with his empty tupperware asking who ate his food and is looking right at Ensign Harriot Simms. When she started to explain she began crying. LOL, I love it!moreless

    • Captain Ward: The engineers have confirmed it. It works on paper.
Harm: The problem is, I'm not flying a paper airplane, CAG!

    • Mac: So far everyone's statements corroborate. You don't agree.
      Harm: What?
      Mac: You've got that look.
      Harm: What look?
Mac: That 'I don't agree' look.

    • Harriet: I haven't heard from Lt. Roberts... and it's not like him not to call.
Admiral Chegwidden: Well, let's see. He left Andrews at 1500 our time, probably arrived at 29 Palms 1530 Pacific, been taking depositions for several hours. I'm sure he'll call soon.
Harriet: I hope so, sir. I don't mean to act like...
Admiral Chegwidden: A pregnant wife worried about her husband?

    • Captain Ward: Commander Rabb. You found your father.
Harm: That's right. Did you know him, sir?
Captain Ward: We flew a couple of wild ones together. Are you half the pilot he was?
Harm: I'd like to think so.
Captain Ward: Maybe we'll see about that.

    • Mac: Any radio transmission would still have been recorded, unless... well, unless they've developed a new technology that can beam a transmission directly into someone's brain.
Harm: I'm gonna beam something into YOUR brain. You're starting to sound like Bud.

    • Mac: Harm! Make sure you're home before the streetlights come on!
Harm: I'll do my best, Mom.

    • Captain Ward: What's going on Commander? Rabb?
Harm: With all due respect sir, I'm a little busy right now, I'll let you know when it's over.
      Captain Ward: Flying lawyers . . .

    • Captain Ward: I had a pilot once, swore Ann Margaret used to dance on his wings.
      Harm: What did you do?
Captain Ward: Nothing! I don't care if he sees a chorus line of Rockettes as long as he gets the job done.
      (Later)
Slider: Does this mean our O2 is bad as well?
Harm: I don't think so, but if you see Ann Margaret dancing on the wings, start screaming.
