Ensign Beverly Tromatore: I read somewhere that we are each of us angels with one wing and that we can only fly by embracing each other.
PO Austin: I laugh, because the alternative...is something I was raised to believe a man doesn't do.

The onscreen dedication at the end of the episode is shown against a backdrop of several photos of combat nurses in action. The dedication is as follows:
"Dedicated To All The Angels Who Have Served In Peace and War....Bless Them All".
The episode uses Marine combat photography inserted in various parts of the episode, so the color will be somewhat degraded to match it. This was accomplished by using special filters during filming & in post-production. While still being shown in full-color, you will noticed that it will appear as 'faded'; so it is not the fault of your TV set.
The title of this episode is taken from a poem written by Italian Luciano de Crescenzo.
