  • JAG briefing submarine movements?

    8.5
Viewers may wonder why JAG lawyers were providing Intelligence information to Pentagon bigwigs instead of DIA, CIA, etc. This plays a role in episode 1 of season 8 (Critical Condition). I don't think this part of the episode was very realistic, I understand its television, but JAG would not be briefing submarine movements to Pentagon War Room personnel. Most likely person would be a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Iranian Naval expert or even the Watch commander at the Joint Intelligence Center. Otherwise, this was a great episode, especially the addition of "Gunny" and Webb into the chase for Kabir. Bud's story will take on a bigger part of future episodes for sure.moreless
  • So sad:(

This episode has major character developement for Bud! I cant wait to see the conclusion! Nothing was wrong with this episode! The writing was perfect as was the special effects of Buds leg being gone! The final scene was amazing and Patrick LAborteaux did a awesome job! You kind of knew something was going to happen from the talk that Harriet had with A.J. right before Buds leg was blown off! Anyway... This was a amazing episode and there was absolutely nothing I would change about it! This may sound weird but im kind of glad that they had that happen to Bud cause he has always kind of been in the Background and hasnt had as many shining moments as the rest of the cast so this will be a chance for Patrick to show his acting ability(Which anyone who ever watched Little House on the Prairie would know that he has a awesome acting ability:D)!moreless

I want to see it, pleaseee... :-)

Nu vil jeg gerne se afsnittet 100 ord er mange men der mangler kun to nu, så lykkedes set.

  • a continuation of a mini series and the end of season 7. Beginning with Harm & Mac continued searching for Kabir Atef in Afghanistan and Bud lost one of his leg at the end.moreless

    9.0
One of the special episode of this season. The mini series of three began slow, in my opinion, however this season ending episode was full of action, especially the last 15 mins. It fully utilized all the major characters of the show including re-curring Lt. Cmdr. Teresa Coulter, GSgt. Victor Galindez and Agent Clayton Webb. One thing I noticed that Lt. Col MacKenzie didn't have much performance in this episode, but Lt. Loren Singer demonstrated her impressive memory in front of the 3 stars Admiral. At the end, Cmdr. Sturgis Turner showed his knowledge with respect to the Russian submarine Caption Yerastov and of course, Cmdr. Harm Rabb demonstrated his guts and skill via his tomcat.moreless

    • (While Bud is being operated on)
Coates: I think I'm gonna throw up.
Mac: Breathe in, hold it for 10 seconds, than breath out. (Coates does as she's told) Feel better?
Coates: No. (Gets up, presumably to throw up)

    • (Trying to intercept the cruise missile)
Lt. Jorgenson: It's a dirty nuke, sir! It could just be set to blow up at targeted co-ordinates!
Harm: Can't be, Lieutenant! That would ruin our day!

    • Captain Yeratsov: (to a sick man) I'm taking you back to Iran for medical treatment. We will kill Americans another day.
Kabir Atef: There will be no other day. We are all dead men.

    • Lt. Singer: Gentlemen, I've got bad news and worse news.
Admiral Chegwidden: Then why the hell are you smiling?
Lt. Singer: I didn't realize that I was, sir.

    • Bud: I'm in the middle of a war here, and all Harriet can talk about is sofa colors.

    • Captain Yeratsov: I have strange headache. Getting too old for this kind of work, Commander. Russian Commander: Not you, Captain. You were born to it. Captain Yeratsov: No one is born to breathe recycled air in tin box under ocean.

    • (Webb brings the Pakistani officer some cigars) Pakistani Officer: Cuban Cohibas, my favorite. Did you know that too, Mr. Webb? Clayton Webb: That, and more. Pakistani Officer: How much more? Clayton Webb: You like to summer in Antibes, you have only one wife but two mistresses, and you're not really in the army. You're ISI, Pakistani intelligence. And a double agent for Iran.

    • Lt. Jorgenson: I think I've had enough adrenaline for one day. How about you, sir?
Harm: I was just getting warmed up. (pause) Let's take it home.

    • PO Coates: Did you know there are more mines than people in Afghanistan?

    • Captain Yerastov: You are not a submariner, Kabir. Down here, news travels before it happens.
