      • The "Mascena Gaspar Institute" listed as being in Georgetown, the place Harm goes to meet Jordan Parker's friend, is a fictional place named for longtime series Associate Producer, Megan Mascena-Gaspar.

      • This episode touches on Harm's previous romance with Lt. Cmdr. Jordan Parker that flamed during the series 4th year. When Harm went ahead and made a life-changing decision in returning to a fighter squadron onboard a carrier without discussing his feelings with Jordan, the relationship cooled. Then in the 6th season episode, "Past Tense", Harm was shocked to learn and then investigated the murder of Jordan.

        Harm: It's Dr. Ratched.

        Mac was comparing Cmdr. Maron to the head nurse in the novel "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" by Ken Kesey. It was later made into a movie starring Jack Nicholson.
