Harm and Mac are found by gypsies after being shot down. They continue heading for the gulag where Harm's father escaped from, while evading searches by to ex-KGB agents.
The Russians report that Harm and Mac were killed in a plane crash. Admiral Chegwidden doesn't believe it, and travels to Russia to search for them.
Chegwidden: Give me your weapon.
Webb: (sarcastically) So you can shoot me?
Chegwidden: (snatching the gun from Webb's hands) Depends on whether Harm and Mac are on that helo!
Mac: (as the Russian planes try and shoot them down) Can't we fight back?!
Harm: With what, spit? We're unarmed!
Mac: I don't even have any spit!
Rabb: Admiral? Webb? What are you doing here? Chegwidden: Getting decked! (spins around and punches Webb)
Webb (referring to Admiral Chegwidden): That's what you get when you make an Admiral out of a SEAL.

Paul Dafelmair won the Emmy for "Outstanding Costuming for a Series" for this episode.
The story recounted to Harm & Mac at the end of this episode on what had happened to Harm's father, will later set the stage for a secret which Harm will learn later in the season six episodes, "Legacy (1)" and "Legacy (2)".
Trivia note: When the ending scene at the airfield was being filmed, (where the Admiral and Webb greet Harm & Mac after Parlovsky is killed) the script called for the Admiral to lay a punch to Webb that knocks him to the ground. However, the scene became a little too "real" as John M. Jackson accidently connected with Steven Culp for real -- with the result of Culp's nose being broken.
ZNN reporter Chuck DePalma returns in this episode reporting on the alleged "deaths" of Harm & Mac.
