When an ensign is accused of raping a teenage girl in Japan, the JAG team flies to Tokyo to defend him, but gets caught up in strained US- Japanese relations.
Sean Murry, plays Ensign Guitry (he is also Agent McGee on NCIS) who is the accused. When first in the court room Sean looks at the girl and you can tell something is fishy about this case.
Turns out Ensign Guitry was in love with the girl who had a second job as a prostitute to help support her family.
I did enjoy this episode. I am glad Ensign Guitry was not a rapist, and that the girl loved him enough to tell the truth.moreless

Harm and Mac must don their diplomatic hats when they're dispatched to Tokyo to represent an ensign accused of raping a young Japanese girl. Sean Murray (Ensign Guiltry) is JAG creator Donald Bellisario's step-son. Sean's mother and Donald married in 1998.

The actual carrier shown in this episode, hull number 69, is the Navy's Nimitz-class carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. It was commissioned in 18 October, 1977 and still an active carrier.

The sailors caps, listed the Reprisal's Hull as CVN-35, which in real life was not a Nimitz-class carrier, in fact it wasn't ANY carrier. Carrier hull number 35 was going to be named the USS Reprisal, but its construction was halted after it was 53% completed. It was then sold as scrap in 1949.
