Episode Summary

Harm risks his life to prove that an F-14 squadron is not jinxed after there have been six fatal mid-air accidents, including one that killed his best friend.''''During Mac and Harm's investigation into the "curse" of the squadron, they learn that the rumor of a jinx stems from an accidental bombing of an Iraqi mosque during Desert Storm. Now only one of the fliers involved in the bombing is left, and Harm has no choice but to fly with him in order to restore the squadron's confidence. However, when a mid-air refueling goes awry and Harm is seriously injured, it seems that the squadron may be jinxed after all.moreless

      • Goof: Just after Mac tells Harm that his friend had died, the camera angle shifts from Harm to Bud. In that angle, Bud's scarf moves into position before his head turns from Harm to Mac. Edit
      • Nitpick: After arrival at Miramar, Bud apologizes to Harm that Mac just informed him that the pilot in the previous F-14 crash was a good friend of Harm's. That poses a question as to how Mac knew that information, since Lt. Austin was Harm's partner in that investigation, not Mac. Of course, as his partner in the investigation, it's possible Harm volunteered the information so that she wouldn't think he was too close to the situation to be objective during the investigation. Edit
      • Goof: After Harm's cockpit canopy is smashed, he and Ayers continue to fly with their masks off - one would have thought that wearing oxygen masks would have made things easier in that situation... Edit

      • Mac: (when Harm wants to break the "jinx" himself) The squadron will just have to ride it out. Harm: I have a responsibility to the Navy and to this squadron to do whatever I can. Mac: Your responsibility is to objectively review the cause of one plane crash, not fight the boogey man! Edit
      • Bud: Does that mean you're not mad at me anymore, sir? Harm: I was never mad at you, Bud. It's Mac that's always complaining about you. Edit
      • Harm: If we eject, this jinx lives on forever! Edit
