First, Mac was not there that much. I would have thought that she and/or Sturgis would be defending Harm or at least be working on the case. And what happened to Commander Lee was almost like what happened to Peter White on St. Elsewhere and so many others. I know that there was a need for someone to be responsible for what happened to Lt. Singer but making Lee the one is almost like what happened to Peter White when they turned him into a rapist. John Astin who joined Murder She Wrote during the second as some slick realtor, wanted to leave to join Mary Tyler Moore's new sitcom so he was made into one of the killers on the show who was caught in the end. And on Hunter John Finn who played Lt. Finn who was Hunter's supporter would become a vigilante and get shot in the end. Now Commander Lee appeared on the show's pilot and would be on the show till the show was revamped. Now during that I thought that he and Harm were somewhat tight that's why it was so shocking to see that not only was he responsible for what happened to Lt. Singer but he also tried to frame Harm.

And I have to say that I saw NCIS before I saw this episode and comparing that to this, I'm surprised that Gibbs would let Tony be responsible for the investigation. It's mind boggling.moreless

This episode of Jag & NCIS crossover continues where the previous episode ended. We learn that Rabb's is on trial for the murder of Lauren Singer. We learn that the night she died she had a heated argument with Rabb regarding the baby, during which Singer told him that she was going to put the baby up for adoption. We then see her falling over in the snow on the bridge, since she seemed to be dead; Rabb simply threw her body over the bridge into the water. But she was still alive and she drowned in the water. Gibbs discovers where the terrorists are from the previous episode and set up a sting to go in. The intended suspect blows himself up, when he spots the agents. And so ends the episode.moreless

    • This episode along with "Ice Queen", was edited down to a 1-hour pilot film, which was then used to sell the idea of NCIS as a new series to CBS; the pilot used the title, "NCIS - The Beginning". It was later used also to introduce the show to CBS affiliates and advertisers. Edit
