An evacuation training for a Space Shuttle team ends with a dead pilot caused by a broken cable. Harm and Meg investigate and soon find out that the cable was sabotaged. Harm's first suspect is now-first pilot Lt. Cdr. Lowry. As this is an important mission - repairing a spy satellite controlling south-west Asia - it can't be canceled and because there isn't another backup around, Lowry cannot be removed from the team. Then a training flight with Lowry and Harm on board has a fatal system malfunction - again sabotage. Lowry can now be crossed out but the person responsible for these incidents must be found quickly as the scheduled mission can't even be delayed and it is highly possible that there will be another 'unpleasant surprise' to stop this mission. - Goof: During the launch in the episode, there was no visual activity until the clock reached zero (T minus 0 seconds). During an actual launch, however, this would not be the case. At T minus 16 seconds, the sound suppression system begins to drench the launch pad with water. At T minus 10 seconds, hydrogen igniters are activated under each engine bell. At T minus 6.6 seconds, the main engines are ignited. Finally, at T minus 0 seconds, the solid rocket boosters are ignited, and the shuttle lifts off.

- Goof: The death of the astronaut occurring while practicing the escape in the bucket would never happen in real life. That is because when NASA conducts them in real life before a shuttle launch, the crew practices everything up to entering the bucket. NASA does not want to run the risk of their astronauts being injured during a simple practice.
