Mac mentions that Admiral Chegwidden didn't process her resignation when she left JAG; she left at the end of the episode "Impact" to work at a civilian firm, but she soon became disillusioned with this and returned to JAG.
Jason Tiner announces that he is leaving JAG to attend Officer Candidate School. Jennifer Coates will replace him as Admiral Chegwidden's assistant.
Sturgis: Job offer?
Harm: CIA. Deputy Director wants to see me.
Sturgis: What did you do?
(after finding out Harm has joined the CIA)
Webb: What can I say Harm. Welcome to the brotherhood.
(Webb finds out Harm is going to be a pilot for the CIA)
Webb: What would you be flying?
Harm: Anything that takes off.
Admiral Chegwidden: Sometimes our mistakes reflect the true nature of our feelings.
Admiral Chegwidden: (to Mac) Harm dives off the deep end, you do something completely out of character, Turner sleepwalks through a defense! Is it me or have I lost my grip on this office?
Webb: Did you report back?
Mac: I've already been assigned to the defense on a desertion case.
Webb: Rabb's?
Harm: Funny.
Bud: So you see yourself as a Bedouin?
Alison LaPorte: Correct.
Bud: Is that why you're not using military courtesy in my presence?
(Harm throws his hat to Tiner)
Harm: For when you make Commander. I hope it brings you a little better luck than it brought me, huh?
(Mac is offended that Admiral Chegwidden processed Harm's resignation)
Mac: Sir, he saved my life!
Admiral Chegwidden: Then put him on YOUR payroll!
At the beginning of this episode, we learn that the events are occurring on or about June 5, 2003.
Alone in his apartment and through the use of flashbacks, Harm reflects on the employees he has been associated with over the years at JAG. The music he plays on his guitar during the flashbacks is an adaptation of the Muddy Waters song, "I Wanna To Go Home". Toward the end of the music is an original composition from JAG staff musician Steven Bramson.
Harm admits that he "improvised" during the mission in Paraguay and the CIA Deputy Director says Robin Williams can admit to improvisation but Harm just looks like a cowboy. Robin Williams is known for ad-libbing extremely amusing lines during movies such as Good Morning, Vietnam and the TV show Mork & Mindy.
