Harm represents the divorced Marine Colonel Anderson who gets himself into hot water by delaying handing over his son to the boy's mother because they are about to move far away. But Anderson is experiencing flashbacks to his time in the Vietnam war, and may be emotionally unstable. When a brutal local deputy attempts to arrest him without succeeding, a manhunt begins. Harm learns what Anderson is really up to and helps him reach the old hunting lodge where he promised to bury an old pal who died back in Vietnam whose was never recovered.
