  • JAG enters the spy world

    9.5
A better episode than "Gypsy Eyes" and believable Russians
  • A great show for character development

    9.0
I loved this episode for the character development and for the Harm and Mac friendship. I love that Mac showed up on the plane to accompany Harm. The dream sequence that Harm had was a little bit bizarre, but he will hopefully work through his issues. I can't believe they STOLE the mig. I figured that Marc was working with Pavloski, but I thought it was disappointing that he is obviously in love with Mac. Harm should've hit him after the book fiasco. A cliff hanger ending with the plane being shot down. All in all a super episode that I really enjoyed.moreless
  • When Ex-KGB agent contact him, give him a new clue about he's father in Russian. Harm go after it and nothing is going to stop him. Nothing else matter's. Even that mean stealing a MIG-29.moreless

    9.2
When Ex-KGB agent contact him, give him a new clue about he's father. That he is in Russia. Harm go after it with all he got like he always does(this time he steel a Russian airforce fighter),lucky for him the Amiral "AJ" sent Mac to help him(well atleast she can speak russian). As the Mr.Webb sayed: "He is like bloodhound, when he got a sense he woun't let it go". With new clue and a eyewitness about Harm's father, there look like that Harm is finally is going to find out the true about He's fater, but in the shadow of all this good news there is also something odd about all these. Who is the one that is trying to help him,who is the true adversaries that is trying to stop he's search. And why they do what they do. This is a very fine episode of JAG,there is soo much mystery. Many Why,how and who. There is also some fine light comedy. Both the "Star" and "Guest Star" perfom a splendid job. Only problem for me is that, the "Mig-29" is a Su-27,and then it was a F-14 with a redstar on it's tail's. Then the attacking "Mig's" are again F-5(the paintjob on them suggest mostlikely "TopGun"). But as usually this is a TV-show.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Trivia and Goof: Sokol said he's FSB which is the Federal Security of the Russian Federation and is the internal security arm of the Russian Federation. It is as he said, the successor the KGB created by former Russian President Boris Yeltsin.

Parlovsky said he's "Foreign intelligence..Similar to your FBI." The FBI deals with internal intelligence in the US; Parlosky probably means he's a member of the SVR or Foreign Intelligence Service.

    • Viktor refers to Hammer's mission when he went down, as an Iron Hand mission, however in the episode Pilot the CAG says it was a photo recon mission when Hammer went down.

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Sokol/Falcon: Sarah, as I recall, you and I had an open dinner date.
Mac: (looks at Harm, then at Falcon) Why not? We can tell each other lies.

    • Harm: I'll wait in the bathroom while you change into your pajamas.
      Mac: What pajamas?

    • Hotel Receptionist: You share a room, you pay double. (in Russian, to other receptionist) If he can afford this bimbo, he can afford double.
(Mac says something in Russian -Excuse me girl, I'm not bimbo-, the receptionist looks angry, and Harm starts flipping through his dictionary)
Mac (to Harm): It's, uh, not in the book.

    • Colonel Parlovsky: Sokol is KGB.
Mac: I thought the KGB was dead.
Colonel Parlovsky: Mutated. Governments come and go, but KGBs never die.

    • Viktor Lushov: (seeing Harm) Lieutenant Harmon Rabb? Are you a ghost?!

    • Alexei: You're a military pilot?
Harm: I fly Tomcats, which is what the MIG-29's a rip-off of.

    • Webb: I don't think you'll find your father, Harm. But if you do . . .
Harm: You want to be the first to know.
      Webb: . . . I hope he's alive.
