Goof: When Mac is going through the apartment for belongings she left behind, she's in full uniform. But when she walks out of the living room into the bedroom, you can see that she's wearing pink booties. But when she opens the closet in the bedroom, she's wearing black heels.
Harm: You can't deny who you are, Mac. You can't deny us.
Mac: There is no us, Harm. And what you're doing, right now, this is exactly you. You're not committing until I've got one foot out of the door.
Harm: (in court) My point is that we can blame others for our predicaments but the truth is we make our own bed.
Mac: Objection your honor, he didn't make the bed in two years!
Harm: What if I told you we were meant to be together?
Mac: I'd tell you you are crazy.
Harm: Look, I know things didn't quite work out...
Mac: You have a gift for understatement.
Harm: But what if we were meant to be together and we just got in our own way?
Mac: 'What if?' just doesn't get it done.
Harm: Were you always this bitter?
Mac: Loving you was like stepping on a rusty nail.
Mac: Commander Rabb assured me that we would be able to come to a quick resolution.
Farrow: (to Harm) Oh, so you're representing the other side?
Harm: Just like old times.
Harm: I'll sign the divorce papers.
Mac: You've been sitting on them for a month.
Harm: What is the big hurry?
Mac: Well, it would be nice to get a divorce before I get married again.
Harm: You're getting married again? When?
Mac: This weekend.
Harm: You're leaving the service?
Mac: As of tomorrow. That's why I need you to sign our divorce papers... today.
Mac: You all right?
Harm: Yeah, I was just pondering the road not taken. (Mac smiles and leaves) Yet.
Harm: Don't you miss this?
Mac: All I'll miss is my train!
Harm: The honeymoon express?
Mac: You lying lowlife!
Harm: Hey! You started this! You didn't have to waltz through JAG, you could have had the Admiral fax you your leave papers.
Mac: I'm going to kick your butt!
Harm: I'll look forward to it.
Col Sutter: You know who reported me? A Female Judge Advocate who spent ten hours questioning the detainee and getting nowhere.
Mac: I don't see the relevance, sir.
Col Sutter: Phony marines, Colonel! That's the relevance! Women who've never seen combat can't possibly understand what's at stake. You don't like what you hear?
Mac: Well, speaking as a 'phony marine', sir, I know what's at stake now!
This episode marked a return for John Wesley Shipp, a favourite actor from the Season 1 episode, "War Cries".
This episode is the 200th filmed JAG episode.
The case that Mac is defending actually did happen. Lt. Col. Allen West fired shots next to a detainee's head in order to get information about a future ambush. Charges were dropped, but West lost his command and chose to retire afterwards.
Meredith: (reading about Harriet's rare Shakespeare Folio on the internet) ...bears the armorial bookplate of the third Earl of Palliser, who was afterwards the Duke of Omnium.
The Duke of Omnium, Plantagenet Palliser, is a fictional character from the "Parliamentary novels" of Victorian author Anthony Trollope.
