EDIT
When the Bough Breaks
AIRED:

The futures of seven seamen hang in the balance due to Lt. Singer's recommendation of court martial for all of them following a mishap on the ship. However, Singer's career could also be doomed if the father of her unborn child is someone on the Seahawk, and it's Harm and Mac's job to find out who it is. The problem is, the career-oriented Singer isn't talking, so Harm enlists the help of Lt. Manetti to do some sneaky behind-the-scenes investigating in order discover the identity of the father.

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • On JAG, the fictional USS Seahawk has always used the hull number of CVN-65 (which is displayed on the sailor's caps); however, instead of using stock footage of the real USS Enterprise (hull number 65) shots of the carrier used footage of the carrier with hull number 74 (USS John C. Stennis).

    • NOTES (3)

      • International Episode Titles:
Czech Republic: Kdyz se lano pretrhne (When the Rope Breaks)

      • This episode accurately pointed out that Star Trek was not just a science-fiction, space-travel series. Many of the works of Shakespeare have been woven into the fabric of the Star Trek franchise which is one of the reasons why Star Trek episodes have been used in s for over 30 years.
This was easy for JAG to do, since Paramount Studios owns both Star Trek and JAG. (Trivia: Star Trek was originally owned by Desilu Studios, but financial problems forced Desilu to sell the studio to next-door Paramount Studios. The huge amount of money that Paramount has made from "inheriting" the Star Trek franchise with that purchase has to be, arguably, the deal of the century.

      • When Harm was first talking to the Air Boss, a klaxon sounded in the background. The klaxon that was used was the same tones used to dispatch Station 51 in the 1970's TV show Emergency!
