    Hiya,

i was just wondering even though Season one of Jekyll has just finished (which i am gutted about) does anyone know if there is going to be a second season because i want to know what will happen between him and his mother - never thought she was that American woman i was gobsmacked lol. It would be interesting aswell to see what they would do with another season. So if anyone could tell methat would be great thanks guys

My Season 1 box set came today, and it said Season 1 on the front, and the ending to episode 6 make me think the BBC are going to make another season IMDB also says 2006-??? which I am unsure what this means as the season started in 2007 didnt it?

They should make a season 2 because there is still more things they can do with the show plus Steven Moffat is a fantastic writer and i am sure he could make season two just as good if not better than season 1.

I don't think theres a great need for the show to explain what happens next though, use your imagination? I loved it.. and will be buying the boxset, but I also would be happy for them to not shoot a second series.

Yep, and when I Emailed the BBS in regards to it, I was advised they have not decided to make a S2 or not.

How cant they not, they left the last episode open for it. And it is well worth a S2. Better than 90% of the rubbish on the TV by far.

I say let a good show end well. No need to force a second season and potentially taint what is already a great show.

Yeah I agree. A very well ending, doesn't need any more story telling. It is perfect as it is.
