One man, an amnesiac sees this investigation as a chance to learn more about his past. A gambler sees this as a ready opportunity to make some cash off of these famous celebrities.

It's up to Jem to help Riot repair the damage between him and his father so that his mother can recover.

But the longer she stays in the Stingers' world, the more Regine realizes who her real friends are.

A superstitious dowager is sponsoring a magic-themed concert to benefit a local children's hospital. Rapture, upset that Jem and the Holograms are headlining instead of the Stingers, concocts an elaborate scheme to steal the spotlight. She tricks the dowager into believing she's been possessed by Harry Houdini's spirit by enhancing her own performance skills with some of Techrat's gadgets. Jem and the Holograms can't convince the impressionable dowager that Rapture is a fraud. It's up to their new friend Astral to expose Rapture for the con artist she truly is.

Riot whisks a stressed-out Jem away on a Mexican cruise, then pair then disappears and no one hears from them for months. Without Jerrica, the Misfts are able to take complete control of Starlight Music and the Starlight Foundation. Pizzazz then forces the Holograms and the remaining Stingers to join the Misfits makeing the mega group rule the airwaves. Rio, the Holograms and the Singers have to find Riot and Jem fast in order to get their lives back to normal.

His determination to keep Danse in the country leads Danse to her long-lost father.

Red Johnny Mac badly needs a hit show to get him out of debt, so he gets Jem and the Holograms to star in a rock version of Beauty and the Beast. She works so hard that she collapses from exhaustion and is put on immediate bed rest shortly before opening night. It's highly doubtful that Johnny's show will be a success without Jem especially once Pizzazz and the Misfits step in as understudies!

At one point the Misfits tag along on the time travel ride and nearly change history by performing in Woodstock. An old woman shows the Holograms how to reach the city and the girls learn the music in time to heal Pizzazz and Roxy. Lord Carfax of England is celebrating his impending ascendance to his title by throwing a Renaissance Faire. Poor Shana is tormented by an unwanted suitor, a mysterious witch woman and what appears to be Lafete's ghost. Jem and the Holograms tour by way of a train so they can perform to small town fans and raise money for the Starlight Foundation. The Misfits are unhappy with all the coverage they are getting and decide to steal the spotlight by having a concert of their own. The President of the United States invites Jem and the Holograms to Washington D.C. to perform for him. Since the security measures at the concert hall interfere with Synergy's signal, the band has to take Synergy apart and bring her along. Recognizing their description of the equipment from a when his detective Malone encountered it, Eric contacts the government and informs them that the Holograms possess illegal technology that poses a threat to national security. The government confiscates Synergy and takes her apart just as a thief kidnaps the President as the final item in his collection of national treasures. A record producer interested in putting out a jazz album gives Jem and the Holograms 24 hours to reunite the group before he closes a deal with Eric Raymond instead. The Misfit Girls cheat by stealing the Starlight Girls' map and having Techrat feed them riddle answers through an earpiece. She and the other Misfits want to claim the Hologram's spot on the concert album so that they can become internationally famous. As for Eric, he has his own plans for making a profit out of the concert.

Craig drops out of the competition just before Raya is announced as the winner. Raya stops Jem from transforming in public, then reveals that she knows Jem's secret. Shana returns to the band and is delighted to discover how much her friends have missed her. Jem and the Holograms fly to New York City so that Anthony Julian can film their new music video. Eric Raymond panics when he finds out that Starlight Music is sponsoring the world's best driver for the Indy 500. The gamblers he's dealing with will take their displeasure out on him if their driver doesn't win the race. With Synergy's help, Jerrica and the Holograms manage to repair the car in time for the big race. Jem takes over as driver of the car and wins the race despite Pizzazz's interference. For the first time in their career, Jem and the Holograms encounter a concertgoer who's not pleased with their performance. The Misfits find a new reason to envy their rivals during a cruise they're all taking since the ship's captain is a Holograms fan and gives them the star treatment. Jem dives after Stormer to save her from drowning but Synergy's signal gets disrupted underwater and Stormer sees her as Jerrica before passing out.
