Ba Nee, Jem and the Holograms fly to Alaska to visit Ba Nee's pen pal. Coincidentally, Eric Raymond and the Misfits are also up in Alaska trying to buy up all the land in order to build a factory. Ba Nee and her pen pal are worried that the sea lions will all die if their habitat is sacrificed for the proposed building project.
